I feel like laughing at crazy people in the ai’strosphere.. so here we go.

I stumbled across this foolishness on my DA account, when I was looking at new accounts to laugh at.
I’m pretty sure this person didn’t quite mean what she said, because ‘try using bad ai as template’, doesn’t make any fucking sense. hahaha Unless she means she traced this terrible sketch work from ai?
It’s a conundrum really.
And that let me to think about, so if ai is bad, isn’t tracing ai just as bad? I mean let’s say it is what this chick is saying. Then she made ai art, which the then made into these terrible sketches? But wouldn’t she still be ‘guilty’ of using ai? I mean if we go by the ‘don’t train it’, and ‘omg the environment’ arguments.
Also that is not an attack on titan logo?
So if she made ai art of this dude from attack on titan, to only then make it into a doodle… Wouldn’t she in theory be guilty of both copyright infringement with an ai, and then using that ai image to then again copyright infringe on said brand ip?
And also didn’t she just train the ai to make this? But all of that is okay because she made a doodle?
Makes no fucking sense.

This screenshot was mostly for you to be able to compare this one creators images, it’s only the last image on the bottom right that is not from said creator.

And I do mean it, even if I seem to be out to get this person, I am not. Besides that I think profiles like this is a major part of the ‘hate’ problem, because it does come off as tonedeaf and delusional, even to me.
Then this creator did not invent it, they are just doing what many others are doing. The reason why I pulled this one creator out of the pond, is because they are a special brand of opportunist.

Look at that… You could be paying this person $15 every month, and you earn the right to make a commision, and their gratitude. I wonder if they have to pay for that damn commission, something tells me they do. Just like they have to pay for the images on her profile, there is no ‘folder unlock’ or whatever, like you see on PAtreon. I mean, like if you have this membership, everything in the shop is free, or you can set your downloads to be free to a specific tier.
None of that.
You pay for the right to ask them for something you tell them to make.
Hi from future me! – It took me some time, but I found out that when you commission her, you do indeed have to pay for your creation, so the tier thing, that is just a phone line to the queen of lazy slob.
Your membership only gives you access to requesting commissions, nothing more. And what threw me off initially was the fact the called it commissions, because in my world, that means something custom made for the person who paid for it. It does not mean the same for her, – This creator sees a commission as a “special suggestion”, as in you get to mail her and say ‘it would be nice if you made a gold horse’, and she does.
Now if this gold horse image is from a $7 tier member, this image will cost $7, and will be available to everyone who wants to buy it, I think she might mention, or somehow credit the person who made the suggestions, but honestly I couldn’t find it in the images I saw, it just said ‘commission’.
And if you are a $15 member, would your commission will cost $15?
When you click her commission tab, you only find one entry which is this:

And that is her own ‘advertisement’ I mean it’s just ‘commission me’ so I was understandably very confused for a while.
And then I found it, she has an ‘exclusive’ tab and a ‘premium’ tab, not that I know what the fuck the difference is. Anyways her ‘premium’ downloads all cost $5.

I mean, I don’t see what’s so ‘premium’ about these images, seriously. But anyway her premiums cost you $5.
And then there are the ‘exclusive’ images, and I guess that is her membership stuff? I really don’t know.

This is what the text says at the top, and that’s why I can only guess it’s her ‘commissions’, or member suggestions. Might I mention she has like five members? Doesn’t say what tier, but surely it’s $7, because the lowest tier gets you fuck all.

and this is what we find…. Fucking $50, yeah you read right… that is insane, literally insane. And I don’t understand if it’s her members who bought something off her and is reselling the NFTs or if it’s all her own which were suggested by her members, and they are $15 to $50? I mean is this the creator selling them, or the members selling them? I am so confused.

When we click one of these ‘exclusive’ images, we can see that it’s actual terrible, it’s full of ai-noise, and weird arms, something that looks like fish tails, and other craziness. I highlighted the worst offenders.
How the fuck can you sell this for $15 and sleep at night? Also the sizing is odd, it’s 1397x1189px 412.13 KB – which tells us (I will slam on that later in this entry, so let me just mention it here) it’s a low res image that you can’t upscale without it getting real weird and grainy.
Come the fuck on!

I am not sure if her ‘members’ are easily impressionable people, or perhaps they are twelve.. but these are the comments below. OMG!
I laughed okay… I legit laughed. And now back to the actual entry I made… Signing off from the Future..]

Let’s look at what you get. you could make this image so many times cooler if you just tried.
And just for the fuck of it, that is what I did. And no I didn’t make this to upload, It is her image. I just edited it for the argument sake in this entry, also it’s a damn screenshot.

I would probably have cleaned it up more, and edited it a little better if I were to have my name on it. But this edit took me roughly 10 minutes, because I have the settings, and vectors at hand.
My point being, it takes so damn little, just a tiny bit of care for your shit not to look like slob.

If you think I found that one image with the weird ai noise on it, it’s not… far from it actually.

But this… this is what boggles my mind for real.. one thing is slob, this is just mad. straight up mad.
Let’s leave this poor creator alone, and focus elsewhere. Like on this person.

Or this person

These are both just examples, just like the first creator, on why most ai creators are actually slightly problematic, and why I think there is a HUGE difference between being a Syntographer, and ai creator.

So can a person like me, who make ai based graphics too, really call others out for slob? I think I absolutely can.
I know ‘syntograph’ is a cheap word, and many will bend it to fit their needs, like that first creator.

And by definition it would apply to all who make ai, but you see I don’t think so. Just like photographers are not done with their work just because they took a photo, they need to develop it too. Syntographers in my opinion take what the ‘camera’ gave them and curates it.
Meaning they fucking edit it, either using traditional means, or digital ones.

I stumbled across this article when I looked for stuff to add in my entry here. and this is a very sober article of how some artists decided to incorporate ai in their artistic expression, and how they feel it made them better artists.
This entry was made to not just point out that even if I like ai artforms, I don’t exactly agree with how everyone is doing it, and I have to say I hate being bundled up with these people. What I make is nothing like what they make, also I’d never in my fucking life ask for money for it. I mean sure on Redbubble, but you don’t buy my damn png file, you buy a mug, or a tshirt… which happens to have my print on it.
