DREAMS OF A LOST MOONCHILD

You all know what I’m talking about… it’s videos like these:

Now all these are IKEA “hack” videos, just because these ‘not at all diy’ videos are absolutely most prevalent in this genre. You can also find those ridiculous ‘I made my home X aesthetics’ where people seemingly have unlimited fucking budgets and makes no mistakes.

These videos like those IKEA ones does bother me the most. it looks awesome, sure… but we don’t all have a fucking woodshop, or a dad that knows woodwork, a cousin that knows electrician stuff… and so forth.. when I want to do DIY, I gotta learn it all myself, and also I have a very limited budget, which is why I am doing the DIY solution to begin with.

Now the oldest kidlet is moving out and that gives me some space, and I am thinking of making some photo reps on some DIY stuff that you can do in a fucking apartment, without wild stuff, just shit like a gluegun and scraps of wallpaper… hahaha nah you know what I mean. And as I said in my previous post

I am working on a very silly and private project that would house stuff like that. I don’t care if that book is ever published, I am having so much fucking fun making it.
