DREAMS OF A LOST MOONCHILD

So I have been up to a lot of no good lately, and well mostly because i sit here and sweat out my fever – I am way way too restless to be able to lay down, and I don’t have any tv channels on purpose, and honestly can’t collect my thoughts for a movie (fever or not) then I have been creating stupid shit, and starting all sorts of useless projects I don’t really know why I started. Cause it’s what I do, I start things and never fucking finish them.

To follow up from my previous entry, I have to announce that I gave up on all the blogging (with or without commercial use) platforms I tried, cause they all suck unless you want to pay ridicolous amounts to gain ‘super-duper premium’ or whatever. Squarespace absolutely came close, and it did have everything i needed – seriously every single thing I have complained about lacking here, and the reason I have to run like 5 side blogs, and a facebook store. But little was I aware that it might be free, but not if you want to publish it. So you can play in your sandbox all you want, but if you want to use it, you have to pay a monthly fee which is more than WordPress’ – and Wix, well it is the same, and also completely useless unless you pay up… and i don’t mean like €7 or something, try with one or two digits after.

I love blogging and I love sharing my stuff even if there is no one in the other end. As I stated a million times, this is not why I do it. But I am not willing to pay that much for something that is basically nothing worth. If I had a massive following that interacted or something, sure I would perhaps be more warm to the idea, and would look into growing my platform. But I do not, I think I have something like 7 followers across all my blogging platforms – And while I blog as I do regardless of interaction, then yeah not willing to spend that amount of money on it. So it looks like I am utterly stuck here, which makes me angry.

So blogging platforms aside, what have I been up to. I am both adding and trimming… so let’s start with the trimming, I am going to take away a lot of the sites on this blog, and leave links instead, because I had to capitulate and acknowledge that I’m stuck here on wordpress, I wanted to make more use of the side blogs on blogger, because wordpress does not lend itself to my need, unless I pay for a fuckton of stuff I do not need, to get the few I do. And as I said above – no dice.

TRIMMING/DELETING:

So I will trim most the extra sites of, and introduce some new ones, much like ‘when i am the author’ which is a ‘feed’ of a sort of all the blogposts I made with that tag. And then be better about linking to the blogs instead.

I will also be going over my http://nightmaresofcarnivoriousrabbits.blogspot.com/ blog, which is for all the free AI graphics I have, and split it up to make it smaller, and easier to navigate. And then I will link them all (the split blogs) here, For now I was thinking like two or three different blogs to hold different categories. And I might also do something with zip downloads, but I don’t know yet.

Some of the images will go to my YT blog http://nordhrafn.blogspot.com/ because they would be useful for youtube purposes.

And in doing that I will delete massive amounts of stuff, so if you want to get something before I do that, you should go check within this week.

ADDING:

I wrote a story, or well half of it, and made a blog to fit the concept. I ended up abandoning that concept and decided to use that blog as a library for all things i have collected like a freaking online magpie, on the topic of wendigos. And I have also been goofing around with my crochet blog, which you can find here http://nightshadeinmyveins.blogspot.com/ which was also originally repurposed actually. but still I don’t feel like my crochet shit belongs here – now if wordpress would let me have two blogs under one url, I would. but since I can’t I just feel like it would muddle eveyrthing up.

But apart from all that I feel like a slightly broken record, when I felt fucking LIFE abandon me, when this crochet youtuber (which i honestly already find annoying) went on a rant about AI patterns… and all I was thinking was ‘omfg are we really doing this all over’?

My stance on AI has cost me online friendships, and a disconnect from an entire group of people I thought were less superficial than that. And while it does sadden me, it actually just makes me double all the more down on my oppinion. It is a fucking tool, it is an algorithm, and it’s meant to work along side with you, not for you.

Dude sometimes I feel like I switch from AI program to AI program in my life, but because of them I can do things I would not be able to otherwise, surely people can understand that. So let me tell you what I use AI for, and why I wouldn’t be without.

I am a visual story teller, and have always been, so I use AI art to create characters and backdrops for me to piece together a timeline and character/enviroment/world build. Without the abillity to create this myself, I would go online and take something off the net – which is worse? I mean it’s not like I actually show all that shit to anyone, but for me it has definitly made it more fun to write, ebcause I can actually “illustrate” some of it to an extend. I make AI art to create backgrounds and banners too which is a giant thing for me – So if we for arguments sake amp up the rethorics, would you rather I created an image, or stole yours off the internet. Because that is the truth innit?

I use TTS, ( Speechify) to read my day to day stuff, sometimes articles and most often pdf documents and e-books. I also use it to read through my own stories to hear how it flows. It is a tool for people who suffer dyslexia and like me have adhd and have issues with work focus. I would be absolutely lost at sea without a decent multi platforms TTS, both for entertainment and everyday stuff.

I use a program when I write (outwrite) so I can restructure sentences I find weird, and it can correct my grammar, spelling and much more. This made me a much better writer all in all. And also I can edit my stuff much better and it makes me feel great, and also give me more motivation for writing, because I am not depending as much on someone else to check it over several times.

I use another program (soundful) to make my music, that gives me joy as well, and I can’t make music for shit. But like with the artwork, this means I don’t have to pirate yours, to add to my own video.

Sometimes I use another program to help me stitch stuff together, or unstick me when I am stuck in a story (novel-ai) which is actually super complicated, but efficient once you know how.

And lastly, I use Copilot on the daily. I use it to help me come up with ideas, use it to find pages or news for me and so forth. I love it, and one thing my poor dopamine deprived brain can’t – it’s looking over a fuckton of links on a topic, seriously I did better with real encyclopedias. And perhaps it’s also a tiny bit lazy… but often it actually gives me links to stuff I never thought of, and that is good.

NONE OF THESE CAN DO ANYTHING ON THEIR OWN…
